2023 Summer Starlight Movies

We need your help in deciding which movie to show during our 2023 Starlight Movie Events.  Vote for your favorite movie and it's ok to stuff the ballot box so vote as many times as you want.  The Movie Receiving The Most Votes Per Night Will Be Shown!

Jr Warriors Youth Basketball Program
For Those in Kindergarten to 5th Grades

This exciting and innovative program has been specifically designed to offer youngsters in Kindergarten to 5th Grades an opportunity to participate in an organized program of balanced competition.  The program philosophy will stress a positive attitude, teamwork, good sportsmanship and self-confidence.

Please Note New Program Dates:  Jr Warriors Program Will Start On Saturday, January 14, 2023 And End On Saturday, April 1, 2023 (No program on January 21st)

- Practices:  Saturdays, January 14 & 28, 2023

- Practice/Game Days:  Saturdays, February 4-April 1, 2023

- Alameda Point Gym, 1101 West Redline Ave, Alameda Point

- Cost:  $125 Residents / $135 Non-Residents - includes uniforms!

Annual Rose Pruning

Saturday, January 21, 2023
10:00 am to 1:00 pm

East Bay Rose Society members will provide a rose pruning demonstration including "Q & A" pertaining to rose care.  Learn to prune like an expert by practicing your skills on the roses at Lincoln Park, 1450 High Street, Alameda.  Weather permitting.

Family Snowball Dance Party

After 3 very long years, ARPD is excited to bring back a favorite event...with a new twist!  2023 will mark the debut of a special party for all children who are currently 5 to 12 years of age and their favorite adult.  There will be dancing, arts & crafts, hors d'oeuvres, and lots more fun!

Deadline:  Friday, January 20, 2023 or until event sells out so sign-up early!
