New Park Names

At the November 2, 2022 meeting, the City Council approved new names for our three newest parks:

Alameda Landing Waterfront Park is now BOHOL CIRCLE IMMIGRANT PARK and it is located at 2901 5th Street, Alameda (near Target).  We are extremely excited to announce that this park will be open to the public starting on Monday, November 14, 2022.  Go out and explore our newest park with a ship theme playground.

Alameda Point Neighborhood Park is now WHALE PARK and it is located at 151 Coronado Avenue, Alameda Point.  It boasts a signature playground in honor of Allie the humpback whale that visited us a few years ago.

Alameda Point Waterfront Park is now SEAPLANE LAGOON PROMENADE and it is located at 1801 Ferry Point, Alameda Point.  It boasts views of Seaplane Lagoon Naval Ships, including the U.S.S. Hornet, and the San Francisco Bay.
