This Week at the Auburn Chamber

Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Day! I may have been living under a rock but this is the first year I have heard it celebrated as a volunteer and give back day. I have always known we were celebrating an incredible man who did so much to bring our country foreword, but this is the first year I have really heard a push towards volunteerism and giving back in honor of Dr. King. I love this idea and will work hard to make it my mission next year to outreach and participate more. I hope that some of you were able to get out and volunteer today or make a commitment to volunteer in the near future, I truly believe without the AMAZIMG volunteers we have in this community so many organizations including our wouldn't survive. Volunteers are the lifeline of our non-profits and we couldn't survive without them. We are VERY lucky in Auburn to have such incredible people who give a lot back to this great community!

With that I hope you all enjoy your day and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events. We have our FIRST Mixer of 2024 at Music & More on Thursday and our Annual Installation & Awards Dinner next Friday! I CAN'T WAIT! And finally make sure if you are a member to cast your vote for the Membership Awards!

Have a GREAT week and thank you for supporting YOUR Auburn Chamber of Commerce!
