Holiday Craft Faire

Our annual Holiday Craft Faire returns on Saturday, November 18th, from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Browse and shop for wonderful handmade items from 70 vendors throughout the historic buildings in Twin Pines Park: The Manor, The Lodge, The Cottage, and The Senior and Community Center, all while getting in the holiday spirit. Get more information here.

Fun for All Ages

Letters to Santa

This holiday season, kids can have fun practicing their writing and mailing skills by sending a letter to Santa at the North Pole! Letters must be dropped off or mailed to Santa’s mailbox at 30 Twin Pines Lane by December 10th to get a free personalized response back from Santa himself! Get more information here

Diwali Celebration 

Join us and the Belmont Public Library for a Diwali Celebration at the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center on Sunday, November 19th from 1:30pm - 5:00pm. Come watch the performances, make some crafts, and learn all about the festival of lights. Get more information here

Bird Show

The Happy Birds performers will be visiting the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center on Thursday, November 30th at 12:00pm to showcase their talented birds! All seniors are welcomed to the event! To register, please visit the Senior Center or call (650) 595-7444

Parents Night Out

Drop off your child(ren) ages 5 - 12 for a festive evening of dinner and snacks, arts and crafts, games, and a holiday movie on Friday, December 1st in the Twin Pines Senior and Community Center from 6:00pm - 10:00pm. Pajamas and blankets are encouraged. Register here

Santa's Workshop

Santa's Workshop will be open on December 9th at 9:00am for a memorable time creating festive themed crafts and treats to share this holiday season! You can decorate ornaments and holiday cookies, write a letter to Santa, and much more. Open to youth ages 5-12. Register here.

Holiday Hors D'Oeuvres 

Join us on December 14th at 6:00pm for a fun and informative evening making holiday entertaining delights. You are encouraged to bring your favorite chef’s knife and an apron. Don’t forget a food container to take your creations home. Register here.

Holiday Food Drive

The VOICES are excited to host a Holiday Food Drive in partnership with Samaritan House. Food donations are being accepted until Friday, December 1st at the following locations:

Diaper Distribution Event

On Saturday, November 18th at 10:30am, free diapers and wipes will be given out to families in need at the Belmont Library. Families can receive kits containing 80 diapers and 200 wipes per child, up to two kits total. There will also be kid-friendly experiences from music and movement to sensory exploration. Diapers will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and are available in sizes 1-6, while supplies last. 

Thanksgiving Office Closure

The Parks and Recreation office will be closed all day Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th. The office will reopen Monday, November 27th at 8:00am. For urgent matters during this time, please contact the Belmont Police Department at 650-595-7400.

Winter/Spring 2024 Registration

Registration for our Winter/Spring 2024 classes and activities opens on Monday, December 4th. We will be offering our usual favorites like the Sweetheart Dance and Zumba classes, as well as some new offerings like Ballroom Basics and a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament! Get more information on all offerings here

Santa at the Firehouse and Toy Drive 

Join us for our annual Santa at the Firehouse and Toy Drive on Thursday, December 14th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at Belmont Fire Station 14, 911 Granada Street, Belmont. Meet Santa, play in the snow, make some arts and crafts and have an amazing time. 

All ages are welcome to join. While this event is free, we ask that you donate at least one unwrapped toy for a child in need.
