Join us for our Succulent Christmas Tree Workshop! Come create a beautiful succulent Christmas tree that will last for months. Choose your accent color when you register: Red, White, Silver, Gold, Purple, Blue, Multi. You can combine up to three colors.

Trick-or-Treat

Tuesday, Oct. 31 @ 10am - 12pm

Sea Country Senior and Community Center

Come visit Sea Country on Halloween between 10am and 12pm for a fun Trick-or-Treat Experience!

Stop by the front desk to pick up a free themed bag so you can collect treats stored around the building.

After 12pm, stop by the front desk. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Speed Friending

Make new friends and get to know acquaintances at Sea Country Senior and Community Center! This fun activity is a variation of "speed dating" and is sure to result in laughter and building connections!

Letters to Santa

Monday, Nov. 13 - Friday, Dec. 8

Would you like to receive a letter from Santa? Santa has asked us to help him by collecting letters in our "North Pole" mailbox inside Crown Valley Community Center. We will then forward the letters to the North Pole for a response from Santa.

Santa will be able to:

Write one return letter per family at one address in Laguna Niguel.

Write one return letter per classroom in Laguna Niguel.

Memory Assessment Screening

Medicare suggests an annual memory assessment for anyone over 65+. The assessment is not a diagnostic tool but provides a baseline to share with your primary care physician.

Wellness Wednesday Workshop

The City of Laguna Niguel, in partnership with the Wellness and Prevention Center, welcomes all 7th to 12th graders to join us this school year for all new Wellness Workshops on select Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. You will have the opportunity to learn about mental wellness and take away tools and tips to help you in your daily life.

You can earn one community service hour per workshop. Pre-registration is required.

HICAP Open Enrollment Clinic

Get help reviewing your 2024 Medicare Coverage and Plans. Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is October 15- December 7. State registered HICAP counselors are available to assist you with understanding coverage options and to provide you with comparisons of plans and coverage. Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP), a program of Council on Aging-Southern California, provides free, unbiased Medicare assistance.

"Let's Be Thankful" Inclusive Dance

Let's celebrate Fall by dancing the night away to music by DJ Noah! Join us for a night of dancing, sweet treats, and crafts. This is an inclusive event for individuals with special needs 18 years and older. Families and aides are encouraged to attend.

Thanksgiving Mini Skate Camp

Join Basics of Skateboarding at the Laguna Niguel Skate Park during Thanksgiving Recess for a mini skate camp, Monday - Wednesday!

This is a hands-on camp designed to bring campers together within the community. All campers will receive direct instruction from an experienced skateboard instructor and are grouped according to ability and age.

Please note a $10 insurance fee is due to instructor on the first day of class, insurance fee is good for up to 3 months.

A Candyland Tree Lighting

Laguna Niguel City Hall

Join us for an evening of Candyland magic, at Laguna Niguel's Annual Tree Lighting celebration! Sweeten the Yuletide Season with cookie decorating, face painting, crafts, games, characters, special musical guests including renowned WestBeat, &, of course, Santa!

The Laguna Niguel Tree Lighting is a free community event including complimentary shuttle services which are available from Crown Valley Park to City Hall from 4pm to 9pm. The shuttle stop is in front of the Crown Valley Community Center at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway.

Volunteer Opportunities

Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade Volunteers

Saturday, Dec. 9, 7am - 1pm

It’s not to late to be a part of the biggest event of the year! VOLUNTEER for this year’s Holiday Parade. This event could not happen without the help of volunteers from our wonderful community.  

Grab your friends and families and volunteer in a number of different roles to help the success of this event. (Service hours will be awarded.) 

The Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, December 9 at 10am.

A MANDATORY volunteer meeting will take place on Thursday, November 30 at 6pm at Crown Valley Community Center. 

*Must be at least 13 years old to volunteer*
