On June 30, 2022, the Longview Fire Department responded to 1501 Dixon St. for a reported residential structure fire.  When crews arrived they found fire coming from a bedroom and the hallway.  The fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes but not before an estimated $50,000 in damage had occurred. There were no reported injuries.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Longview Fire Department responded with 3 fire engines, 2 ladder trucks, 1 ambulance and 4 support vehicles for a total of 21 personnel.
