On Thursday, June 30, 2022, six members of the Longview Fire Department Water Rescue Team were activated by Texas Tasks Force One.  The six member team will report to Beaumont, Texas in preparation for the predicted flooding in the area that may be caused by a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico.
