Celebrate the first in-person art exhibition at the Cypress College Art Gallery (CCAG) in over two years! Curated by artist and faculty member Nzuji De Magalhães, Hairtage Continuum will run September 22 through November 17 and brings together works by artists who approach Black hair as a locus of tension, affirmation, oppression, and joy. Hairtage Continuum is the next generation of Hairtage: Tangled, Twisted, and Black, which CCAG hosted online during the pandemic.

Puente + Legacy Centers Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Happening Thursday

Join the Puente and Legacy programs at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of their respective, on-campus spaces in the Humanities building for program students to enjoy camaraderie and pursue academic excellence.

The event will include food, live music, speakers, and a formal ribbon cutting, as well as mini tours of the spaces provided by Puente and Legacy students.

When: Thursday, September 22 @ 4–7 p.m.
Where: Breezeway outside of the Humanities Bldg. near Parking Lot 8
