Nestled in beautiful Laguna Canyon, the Laguna Art-A-Fair is one of the premier fine arts summer destinations in Southern California and has been for more than 55 years. Our artists invite you to Celebrate Art with a full spectrum of original creations, affordable reproductions, art demonstrations, workshops, live music and excellent cuisine.

The festival features over 100 award-winning fine artists and artisans from around the world. Two-dimensional media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, encaustic, pastel, charcoal, colored pencil, photography and printmaking. Three-dimensional media include jewelry, ceramics, glass, mirrors, fiber art, leather work, wood craft, wood sculpture, steel sculpture, bronze, gourds and more.

COLLAGE - Agnes Copeland
Agnes has steeped herself in art history and design, watercolor and other art workshops. For more than 30 years she has painted and participated some of Southern California’s largest art venues.

Watercolor with a Twist - Geri Medway
A signature member of National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West, Geri’s work and instruction has been showcased in several Walter Foster publications, and is included in “Art of the American West”. She is an avid exhibitor and instructor, who enjoys sharing her enthusiasm, vision and mastery of the medium with her students.

Pine Needle Basketry - Grace Swanson
Growing up in Nigeria gave Grace a unique exposure to the creation of useful everyday items using the natural materials that were readily available. She received her Graphic Arts degree from SDSU, pursued a career as a graphic artist, and was a botanical watercolorist before discovering her passion for gourd and pine needle art. Now she’s ready to help you discover yours!

OLD MASTERS STYLE OIL - Carol Greene
Carol has been published in “Best of Wildlife Art 2” (Northlight), and “Art of the American West” (Rockport). She exhibits in the top wildlife art shows in the U.S. Carol has been the featured artist at the San Bernardino Wildlife Art Festival and in 2012 received first place honors in the Miniature Set Society of Florida exhibition. Whether you fancy wildlife or still life, share her passion for Old Masters techniques and rich color in oil painting.

ACRYLIC POURS - Barbara Palmer-Davis
Barbara has been painting for over 30 years and has taught art classes for more than 20 years. Students will enjoy her nurturing demeanor and wealth of techniques for exploring this interesting medium. Students require no former experience or training. This is a fun workshop where the end product is often a happy surprise.

ACRYLIC POURS - Emilee Reed
A member of Watercolor West and OCFA,  Emilee is a published artist whose watercolors and acrylic pours are on display in local galleries as will as at Laguna Art-A-Fair. She studied all mediums at Fullerton College before finding her passion first with watercolors, and now with acrylic pours. A different pour technique will be covered each week. (Please bring a shallow box sized to transport two 8x10 wet paintings home.)

JEWELRY - Patrick & Christine Sullivan
This engaging husband and wife team offer a unique summer workshop experience, alternating weeks between Wire Wrapping and Wire Forming, students will learn the basic skills of both types of jewelry creation, and be able to make new creations using a variety of focal points and materials.

SCRATCHBOARD - Kathleen McCarthy
Kathleen’s proficiency at the art of scratchboard is clearly evident in her work, and is supported by her many awards. Her extensive experience teaching groups of all sizes encourages students to explore the challenges of subtractive art while celebrating the creatures with whom we share our world.
