Letters to Santa
NOW through Friday, Dec. 8

Would you like to receive a letter from Santa? Santa has asked us to help him by collecting letters in our "North Pole" mailbox inside Crown Valley Community Center. We will then forward the letters to the North Pole for a response from Santa.

You May Also Mail Your Letters To:

Santa will be able to:

Write one return letter per family at one address in Laguna Niguel.
Write one return letter per classroom in Laguna Niguel.
Write to children who include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Beginning Ukulele

Fridays, Dec. 1, 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Learn how to play the ukulele! The ukulele is easy to learn and great for singers. There's no need to know how to read music. At the first class, a variety of ukuleles will be available to sample. You will need to purchase/rent your own instrument for the remainder of the course. Space is limited.

A Candyland Tree Lighting
Saturday, Dec. 2, 5pm - 8pm

It’s a Candy Land themed celebration at this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony! Experience holiday magic by lighting the City’s Christmas Tree and sharing in the fun with an evening full of games, crafts, stage performances, treats, and a visit by Santa.

The Laguna Niguel Tree Lighting is a free community event including complimentary shuttle services which are available from Crown Valley Park to City Hall from 4pm to 9pm. The shuttle stop is in front of the Crown Valley Community Center at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway.

Handmade Card Workshop

Conversational English One-Day Workshop

Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade

Save the date! Experience the unique sights and sounds of the Annual Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade! View exciting entries like marching bands, floats, special guests, youth groups, equestrians, exotic cars, military members, and local heroes, and a dazzling entrance by Santa Claus!

The parade takes place between Nueva Vista and Crown Valley Park. Bring chairs and take advantage of the free shuttle, available from the Federal Building parking lot off Dorine/El Lazo.

Chanukah Celebration & Menorah Lighting

Writers are invited to a 3.5-hour, one-day writing workshop during the December class hiatus. Feeling blocked? Need a critique? Feedback? This is your opportunity to bring up to 5 pages of any work-in-progress and receive valuable critique and feedback from others. No work in progress? Bring ideas for brainstorming. Embrace the process of writing and discover the power and magic of writing in the company of others. Please bring 15 copies of your written work.

Ugly Sweater Late Night Skate Night
Saturday, Dec. 16, 8pm - 11pm

FREE for members, $10 entrance for non-members.

All participants require a valid waiver on file signed by their parent/guardian.

Join us this winter for an Ugly Sweater Late Night Skate Night. Come to the skatepark and shred until 11:00pm in your favorite ugly holiday sweaters! The best ugly sweater will win a prize. Food will be available for purchase at the event.

Mindful Monday- Holiday Craft

Arts and crafts have positive effects on everyone, no matter the age, but they are particularly good for seniors for several reasons, including physical and mental health, fine motor skills, and boosting self-esteem. Yalda
Thursday, Dec. 21 @ 1pm

Celebrate the longest night of the year and the last night of Fall with traditions from the annual Persian festival, Yalda. The celebration will include music and dance performances, poetry reading, Persian-style refreshments and dancing. Everyone is welcome! Free to attend-RSVP with the front desk.

Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade Volunteers
Saturday, Dec. 9, 7am - 1pm

It’s not to late to be a part of the biggest event of the year! VOLUNTEER for this year’s Holiday Parade. This event could not happen without the help of volunteers from our wonderful community.  

Grab your friends and families and volunteer in a number of different roles to help the success of this event. (Service hours will be awarded.)

The Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, December 9 at 10am.

A MANDATORY volunteer meeting will take place on Thursday, November 30 at 6pm at Crown Valley Community Center.

*Must be at least 13 years old to volunteer*
