Brea, CA -- Emmy Award-winning actress and comedian Mary Lynn Rajskub, whose credits include the newly released The Dropout (HULU), Hell’s Kitchen (Fox), as well as 24, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, will perform her new act, FAMEISH: THE COMEDY TOUR at The Improv-Brea on. The performance runs in conjunction with the release of Rajskub’s new book, FAMEISH: MY LIFE AT THE EDGE OF STARDOM (Abrams, May 17, 2022, ISBN: 978-1419754791).

The material in Mary Lynn’s stand-up will draw from her book, which features 28 original essays that pointedly and hilariously convey an insider’s view of celebrity. The book also gives insight on how Rajskub chooses her projects, picks her battles, maintains her dignity, handles being a mom, and much more.

Mary Lynn Rajskub is an actor and comedian whose credits include The Dropout (HULU), Hell’s Kitchen (Fox), 24, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Punch-Drunk Love, among many leading and supporting roles in film and television. Born in Detroit and raised in Trenton, Michigan, she got her start as a regular cast member on the HBO comedy series Mr. Show, followed by a recurring role on The Larry Sanders Show. In 2003, she joined the cast of the hit drama 24, eventually becoming the show’s lead female character and contributing strongly to its 2006 Emmy win for Best Drama. She is also a two-time Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award nominee. In 2021, she released her most recent comedy special, Mary Lynn Rajskub: Live from The Pandemic.
