BURYING THE EVIDENCE OF MISMANAGEMENT

For years, YOUR GLENDALE COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER has asked for public accountability with an independent auditor of the Americana At Brand. At a candidate forum in 2020, candidates Brotman, Devine, and Kassakhian said they would agendize The Americana At Brand if elected.

On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, our City Council has scheduled a meeting between 2 pm and 3 pm regarding the History of the Americana. Five staff members and ONLY Councilman Ardy Kassakhian will discuss the DOG AND PONY SHOW with no independent auditor. City Manager Rubick Golanian and our council members know that few residents and the press watch a city council meeting at 2 pm in the afternoon.
