Art by Pullman artist Lee Sekaquaptewa will be on exhibit at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn.

Lee Sekaquaptewa is a Multi-Tribal Native American Artist. Lee art is prolific random, tactile, illustrative varying with style, humor, and pop culture. When not sketching, drawing, or painting he sometimes plays the piano and likes to produce music.

He is of Yakama, Navajo, and Hopi descent. He grew up in the valleys of Arizona (Glendale, Phoenix, Peoria) and Washington (Yakama Reservation). Lee has exhibited widely in galleries and alternative exhibition venues throughout the Inland Northwest, and was recently a member of two artist collectives, Artist’s Loft Vancouver and Vancouver Independent Artists, in Vancouver, WA. In addition to studio work, Lee has taught art classes at a youth camp as well as in private workshops. Sekaquaptewa likes to engage with the community as well as build it. In his creative practice he takes on commissions, participates in collectives, and often donates his work to organizations.

Date: July 10 - 31, 2022.

An opening reception with artist present will be held On July 10th from 1pm to 3pm.

Hours: Thursday – Sunday 10am-6pm.
