A Christmas Story

Just One Weekend Left!

Purchase tickets here

Our production of the play, A Christmas Story continues on the Opera House stage for one more weekend with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Based on the memoirs of humorist Jean Shepherd, the story follows the Parker family of Hohman, Indiana, as they anticipate the Christmas holiday. Young Ralphie, brother Randy, "The Old Man" (dad), and Mother are hilarious characters. The play incorporates memorable elements of the 1983 movie of the same name.

Pictured are the actors who appeared at Woodland's Holiday Tree Lighting last Friday night, just before the show. "The Parkers" are left to right: Josh Brown, Owen Mayor, Tomas Love Alcaraz, and Patricia Glass. They were thrilled to be a part of the annual celebration!

Join us this weekend for the show and bring along your family and friends! Reserved seats are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors 62+, and $15 for children 17 and under. Balcony tickets are $18 for adults and $9 for children. Flex Pass specials and group rates are available. Rotten to the Core was a Success!
Our Fall Musical Theatre Workshop, Rotten to the Core, performed this past weekend to cheerful crowds filled with friends and family. Featuring nearly 70 young performers ages 3 to 16, this workshop combined 6 individual classes into a villainous themed musical revue. Putting this together with only 9 instructional hours was quite a feat, but staff and these performers rose to the occasion quite successfully!

Many of these students are featured in other Education Program programming: Broadway Bound, Rising Stars productions (including our upcoming Disney’s Aristocats KIDS), Show Biz Kidz, our Nutcracker Caroling, and many dance classes.) Our Musical Theatre Workshops is where it all begins!

We are so proud of all of our performers that participated in Rotten to the Core this past weekend! Bravo!
