Purchase Tickets Online

Opening this past weekend of Bye Bye Birdie was a huge success! Audiences at all three performances were bowled over by the production and we're ecstatic. Come on down for a relaxing evening (or afternoon) of quality entertainment at the theatre weekends through July 10. As you can see from the fabulous photo above by Zoart Photography, the show is packed full of great song & dance sequences and colorful characters!

As is tradition we had an opening night reception after the Friday performance. Here you see our talented cast and crew enjoying the post performance get-together.

Be sure to put this one on your calendar and get tickets (see button below) now for Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. through July 10th. Tickets available online or directly from our box office at 340 Second Street / (530) 666-9617. Past Student, Jimin Moon, Kicks Up His Heels at the Music Circus!
One of our own Theatre And Dance Annex students from years past recently had the incredible opportunity to perform with the Music Circus as one of the Angels in their production of Kinky Boots. We are so excited for Jimin Moon as he furthers his career in what he loves doing and what began with the Woodland Opera House!

“The WOH was truly the best training ground for me as a child,” says Jimin. “I learned so much from amazing teachers like James Glica-Hernandez, Eva Sarry, and Staci Arriaga. And I could not be more grateful for the values of hard work, compassion, having fun, and giving 110% that they instilled in me.”

Jimin attended theatre and dance classes through the WOH even before the TADA existed. He took Ballet, Jazz, and Tap at the Fourth Street Studio and fondly remembers seeing all of the “relics” there, from past productions. Jimin graduated high school in 2019 and has been studying musical theatre at Penn State since. And he plans to graduate with his BFA in Musical Theatre in the spring of 2023.

You can still see Jimin perform with the Music Circus, as he’ll be in four more of their shows this summer: Carousel, Kiss Me Kate, Something Rotten, and The Secret Garden. We are so proud of him and honored to know that he values the theatre education he received from the WOH.
