The cast of The Ghost of Woodland Opera House looks forward to performing again this weekend! They invite you to take some time out of your busy weekend to relax and enjoy a truly unique production - back onstage Friday & Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. See what everyone is talking about! This show has laughs, intrigue, a little bit of drama, and is a heart felt homage to the Opera House and its history.

Last week the playwrights, Matthew Abergel & Bob Cooner, were invited to speak with host Bill Buchanan, on the Davisville podcast (KDRT 95.7 fm). The conversation covered the process of bringing a show like this to life, one which took several years. Matthew & Bob also spoke about the extensive research involved, how the concept and characters developed, and their experience in creating for, and working with, our historic theatre. Listen to the podcast here.

A Christmas Story
November 18 - December 11

The holidays are just around the corner, so be sure to mark this one on the calendar and bring the whole family for some seasonal fun! Based on humorist, Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the Midwest in the 1940s, A Christmas Story is a favorite for all ages.

Enthusiastic 9-year-old Ralphie is determined to succeed in his quest to find a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the Christmas tree. His parents, teacher, and even the department store Santa are hard to convince, uttering those words that make him cringe, "you'll shoot your eye out!," but he persists nonetheless. The play includes all of the hilarious moments from the much beloved 1983 movie.

Tickets are on sale now at the button below for performances on Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
