Asian Modern Arts Society (AMAS) is a non-profit organization committed to providing support services to emerging and professional Asian artists, as well as artists who are influenced by Asian culture in the U.S. and around the world.

Our mission is to produce annual events ranging from week-long art festivals to month-long solo/group/juried exhibitions for both emerging and professional Asian artists. Asian Modern Arts Society (AMAS) also aims to give grants and awards to such talent.

AMAS is especially focused on supporting immigrant Asian artists, with limited English skills, seeking exhibition opportunities. Our goal is to assist emerging and established Asian artists in self-promoting their talents. We can also provide cultural enlightenment for a diverse audience, thus allowing artists to continue to make a commitment to pursuing artistic creations as a lifetime career.

AMAS will host two to five invitational exhibitions in Bay Area museums or galleries. Invited artists being locally or nationally known Asian artists who are specifically recommended and/or selected through our Committee and Board Members. Our Invitational Exhibitions provide museum quality presentations and reflect the city's ethnic and cultural diversity.
