The Bay Area Association of Kidney Patients (BAAKP) is a local, not-for-profit all volunteer organization founded by kidney patients for kidney patients.

Our goal is to provide EDUCATION, SUPPORT, and ADVOCACY to improve the health and well-being of all kidney patients and their families.

In 2010, the BAAKP received the “Kidney Patient Support Group of the Year” award from the American Association of Kidney Patients.

If you are a chronic kidney disease (CKD) patient, on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, a transplant recipient, a family member or caregiver, or a medical or ancillary professional, we encourage you to join our group!
