The Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society is a private non-profit organization dedicated to placing homeless animals with committed caretakers; to developing healthy relationships between pets and people through education, training and couseling; and to promoting the humane treatment of all animals.

Established in 1927, Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS) offers a unique environment that nurtures and shelters companion animals until they are placed in loving homes.
