We are a body called Bethany in the greater Bellflower area, Reaching Out, Building Up, Sharing in God’s Family

We have a passion for Christ and compassion for people. We seek to serve the whole person in our community as a generous partner and servant leader.

We believe in celebrative worship, expectant prayer, faithful witness, helpful service, caring family, intentional discipleship, purposeful unity, cultural diversity, generous sharing, and consistent excellence.

Our Mission

We offer ourselves to our friends and neighbors to make the love of Christ real, and share the experience of God's family. We are committed to REACHING OUT.

We grow in our relationship with Christ as we worship. We nurture our love as we care for and encourage one another in God's family. We are committed to BUILDING UP.

We join together as a family in the love of Christ. Our family circle is always open, and as new friends join us, the circle grows larger. We are committed to SHARING IN GOD'S FAMILY.

Our Vision

We have a passion for Christ because by his death and resurrection he has restored us to God and promised us his wholeness. His compassion for us moves us to compassion for people.

Christ calls us to love him and our neighbor with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. So we seek to serve the whole person, meeting needs of heart and mind and body.

For Bethany Church, we seek to serve the people of the greater Bellflower community. For each Bethany member, we seek to serve the people of the community where we live, work,study and play.

We seek to be generous by sharing our God-given resources. We seek to partner with individuals by establishing personal relationships. We seek to be a servant leader by walking one-on-one with those in need modeling the character and ministry of Christ.

We seek to partner with other churches, agencies and organizations through existing and new programs.
