Calvary Bible Church is...

A growing, thriving church committed to the teaching of God's Word. Located in the High Desert town of Lucerne Valley, you will find the friendliest people at Calvary. Since 1948, Calvary has stood committed to one purpose- "To proclaim the Truth, with the love of Christ."

We are committed to the teaching of God's Word. We believe that the Bible is The Truth and true in its entirety. The Word of God is our unchanging standard in these ever-changing times. It is the truths in God's Word that answer the greatest questions in our lives: "Who am I? Why am I here? Is this all that there is?"

In a day and age in which everyone is striving to be "relevant", we believe that nothing is more relevant that the timeless truth of God's Word. Dynamic preaching and practical teaching are a vital part of our church, but never at the expense of the message of Truth- that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and arose from the dead victoriously!

Calvary Bible Church is a member of IFCA International, a fellowship committed to the foundational truths of the Bible. We are biblically conservative, non-charismatic, non-Pentecostal.

We believe that God exists in three persons, The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the eternal Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary and lived a sinless life only to sacrifice Himself on the Cross for our sins.

That the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, and gives us the ability to live a victorious Christian life.

That Heaven and Hell are very real, and Heaven awaits those who place their trust in Jesus Christ and Hell awaits those who do not accept the offer of eternal life found only through Jesus Christ.

That Satan is real and is the sworn enemy of God's people. He is a liar and a thief and uses gossip, lies, discouragement, apathy, complacency and fear as his primary weapons. He is also a defeated enemy who vainly wages war against Christians.

The Bible teaches that Jesus will come again and establish His kingdom on Earth.
