Cielo Vista Elementary Mission Statement

Cielo Vista Elementary School’s mission is to celebrate each student and promote excellence through a safe learning community that empowers each student to achieve success and centers on respect for all aspects of the learning program.  To accomplish this mission we will make decisions regarding implementation of instructional programs through Student Site Council, ELAC, Decision Making For Results Team, Student Council, and PTA.  Additionally, we will analyze a variety of assessment measures, present a challenging standards based curriculum, provide equitable access to all programs, offer access to technology, promote positive character qualities and leadership skills, celebrate academic achievement and outstanding behavior, foster intellectual, physical, social, and emotional health of all students, work in collaboration with parents/advocates, staff, students, and community members, participate in professional development, strive for consistency, collaboration, reflection of our practices, and peer support in program planning, and maintain a safe, secure, clean facility.
