Connecticut Society of Santas

CTSS MISSION

The Connecticut  Society of  Santas provides a forum for any Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus or Elf to share their experiences and educate each other so that we can impart the Magic of Christmas to all those who truly Believe.  CTSS, through its annual events, strives to  provide educational resources, the exchange of expereinces and ideas, and create an atmosphere of  fellowship among it's members within the Christmas community.  Through these efforts, CTSS hopes to help members enhance their local communities by promoting respect and dedication to the portrayal of  Santa Claus,  Mrs. Claus,  and Elves.

ABOUT CTSS MEMBERS

CTSS members come from all walks of life and backgrounds, but all share the same passion and love for the Christmas season.  Through their portrayal of  Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and Elves many are active in their local communities appearing at tree lighting ceremonies and in Christmas parades, fund raising events,  visiting local schools,  working with their local Chamber of Commerce, and visiting hospitals.  Many of our Santas are also available for home visits, corporate parties,  or appearances at Christmas fairs, restaurants, and retail establishments  for photo opportunities.  Whether they are a Mall Santa,  Meet and Greet Santa,  Story Teller,  Interactive Party Santa, or leading a Christmas Carol sing-a-long,  they all share the same enthusiasm for the season.   Several of our members also appear at events as Uncle Sam, Leprechauns. Clowns, and Magicians helping to bring joy and happiness to young and old throughout the year.  CTSS membership is comprised of men and women from New England,  New York, and the Tri-State area.  Our yearly events often attract Santas,  Mrs. Claus,  Elves and vendors from around the country adding to the sharing and exchange within the Christmas community creating a solid base for social and cultural diversity at CTSS events.
