Our mission can be summed up in four simple words: Message, Maturity, Ministry and Missions. Each of these play an integral role in who we are as individuals and as a church at Florence. Our message is that people would know the love of Jesus Christ; our maturity occurs as we grow to know Him and one another; our ministry comes from understanding that each of us are gifted for His service; and our heart for missions challenges us to reach out to our community and world.

For many decades, we have sought to be a church that serves as a safe harbor for lives that need to know God and also a place where people are inspired to find a place to serve others. Ultimately, we are about living in and bringing others into a right relationship with Christ through selfless service.
At the front of our church sanctuary, this verse is inscribed: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever", Hebrews 13:8. We believe that the power present with the apostles in the New Testament days is available to us today - that Jesus performed miracles of healing and redemption then, so He is able to do those same miracles in our lives today.
The "Foursquare" Gospel simply pictures the four ministries of our Lord: Savior, healer, Baptizer and Coming King. Together, they provide a framework by which Jesus is the answer to our every need. He is the answer to our completeness - our wholeness.
