About Us

Mariposa, California is a small community situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range of California. Small in population (about 2000 in the town proper), the town is BIG on personality with historic buildings dating back to the Gold Rush still in use. Our club was formed on September 1, 1992 and currently enjoys a membership numbering 16. We may be small but we like to think that with average yearly project expenditures of approximately $10,000.00, we do some pretty substantial things. Some of our ongoing programs are:

-Darrah School Renovation
-Pediatric Trauma Prevention Training
-Community Hay Ride
-Terrific Kids Program
-Annual 4th of July Community Celebration
-Darrah School Tots Playground.
