Mother Lode Gun Club, established in 1939, is located in the beautiful foothills of the eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range (about 70 miles north of Yosemite National Park). The Club offers many shooting activities to Calaveras, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne County area residents. Activities include archery, big bore rifle, black powder, cowboy, trap, action pistol, and high-power rifle matches. The Club also has a Junior rifle program which teaches firearms safety to youngsters.
