On behalf of the Mount Vernon Group, welcome to our web site. We hope you'll find the information here useful, but more than that, we hope it will inspire you to get involved with the Group's local environmental work and have fun with us in our social activities.

We're a large group with more than 4400 members, but to get things done, we really depend on the time and talents of a much smaller group of active, dedicated volunteers. Our leadership team, the Executive Committee (ExCom), is comprised of local, volunteer members, and we're grateful for the hard work of dozens of member-volunteers who are helping us improve the quality of life in the Northern Virginia area through political activism, public education programs, and more.
