New Community United Methodist Church
About Us
We are the newest United Methodist Church in the Fresno District! In 2002, Ken and Debbie Gudger started putting together a list of people who wanted to be part of a new church in the mountains. The first "official" meeting was at their house in June of that year. Nine people showed up.
Now, in 2006, a couple hundred of us gather for worship every Sunday morning. During the week, we meet in Women's and Men's Study Groups, Clothing, Meal, Backpack, Prayer Shawl and Banner Ministry Teams. Many of us volunteer in our thrift store.
