We are aware of the fact that over 50% of the world’s people have not heard the claims of Christ and received his message even once. We are aware that as Americans we are in the top 10% of global economics. These facts in themselves place us in a position of increased responsibility to use a significant and increasing portion of our resources toward the fulfillment of the great commission. (Mt.28:18-20; Mk.16:15:20) We desire to pattern our outreach ministries according to the Scriptures and at the same time to be led by the Holy Spirit. We see that the early church started as an apostolic church planting movement that continually pressed foreword into new territories. Churches were planted through the preaching of the kingdom message accompanied by signs and wonders. All of these churches were self-multiplying, self-sustaining and self-governing. This apostolic mandate is still in force today. Therefore we believe that church planting according to the biblical principle is of primary importance. We also have seen that resourcing church leaders in various countries can have a dramatic effect on church growth in both power and numbers.
