About Us:

Palmetto Posse is a SASS affiliated club and all SASS rules apply. We strive to promote the spirit of the old west while providing a safe, fun, family oriented shooting environment.

Our matches are held the first Saturday of each month at the Mid-Carolina Rifle Club near Columbia, SC. Registration begins at 8:30am, safety meeting at 9:30am with shooting by 10:00am. Eye and hearing protection is required.

Our matches are open to the public and new shooters and visitors are always encouraged and welcome.

We shoot 6 stages requiring approximately 60 rounds of pistol ammo, 60 rounds of rifle ammo, and a box of shotgun shells usually 7-1/2 to #8 shot. Bullets are hard cast lead with no jacketed bullets allowed. Shooter's entry fee is $12.00. First time shooters as well as Buckaroos, Buckarettes and Juniors shoot free.
