Queens County Republican Party

71-20 Myrtle Avenue

The Queens Republican County Committee (County) is the official Republican political organization in the borough of Queens, New York City. Working with the Republican National Committee and the New York Republican State Committee, County continues to promote individual involvement in the grassroots effort to elect Republicans to office at every level.

County is comprised of a diverse, talented, and dedicated group of volunteers who help fulfill the myriad legal requirements that allow the party to field candidates for local office regularly and give those candidates the grassroots help they need to wage credible campaigns.

And despite a challenging registration disparity, there is a strong history of electing Republicans in Queens. Indeed, Queens County has always been a critical county for all Citywide, Statewide and National races. In 2005 we saw an historic reelection for our Republican Mayor, marking the fourth consecutive Republican victory for the position of New York City's Mayor. On a local level we are particularly proud to have two great Republican Senators in Queens, Senator Serphin R. Maltese and Senator Frank Padavan and one great Republican Council Member, Councilman Dennis Gallagher.

Putting it plainly Chairman Philip Ragusa and the County organization are committed to recruiting and endorsing quality GOP candidates to run for Assembly, State Senate, City Council and even U.S. Congress so we can increase the number of Republican elected officials that call Queens County home.
