San Dimas Community Church United Church of Christ was founded in 1912 by 46 people looking to establish a community of faith. The main building that houses our sanctuary was built five years later.

We believe in the freedom and responsibility of the individual and the right of private judgment in the worship of God and the promotion of the Christian life, character, fellowship and service for this community and the world.

The basis of fellowship in this church is the purpose to live as a disciple of Jesus as the Christ and to share in the organization, life and program of the church.

As a congregational church, we are a company of Christians, complete under God in spiritual authority and ecclesiastical power, regularly meeting and worshipping in one place and covenanting to walk together after Christ's commandments in love toward God and neighbors.

While recognizing our independence and autonomy as a local church, we are in fellowship with other churches both within and outside the United Church of Christ and have a God-given responsibility toward the whole church of Jesus Christ.
