The Ledyard Women's Club
Making Meaningful and Visible Contributions to the Ledyard Community and our motto is: Friendship through Service.
Members attend a meeting once a month and can participate in as many or as few activities as they choose! We offer bowling nights, BUNKO games, and many social activities to enable women to nurture friendships.
Our civic opportunities include volunteering at the concession stand for Ledyard Youth league football games, helping at the Ledyard Women's Club craft fair, organizing easy and fast fundraisers (Pizza Hut cards is our most recent endeavor), and serving as a resource for town programs. LWC strives to make Ledyard a wonderful place to live and helps by donating to various non-profit charities such as Hannah's Wish, offering a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving high school senior who resides in Ledyard, and many, many more wonderful contributions.
