Mission:

The mission of Tovashal Elementary School is to provide a safe, motivating environment that creates productive, successful, life-long learners.

Tovashal Elementary School, a California Distinguished School, serves students in Kindergarten through Grade Five. Tovashal Elementary School opened in August of 1999. Tovashal, which means “white oak,” is the sixth elementary school opened in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District.

Tovashal Elementary School is committed to providing a well balanced, standards-based education for each student. Striving towards excellence is an on-going process at Tovashal Elementary School. Tovashal uses the California State Standards, District and State curriculum, current research in education, and student assessment data to provide a strong base for our instructional program.
