Vision Statement:

The Presence of God among us makes us the People of God empowered with the Proclamation of God for the Walnut Valley and beyond.

History:

The Walnut Valley Vineyard Church started meeting in a park in Diamond Bar, California on Sunday morning, July 16, 2000. Mark Maki, the founding pastor, had followed a call to plant the church after 7 years serving as a pastor on staff of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Anaheim. There were 40 people who began to gather on lawn chairs under blue pop-up awnings over that very hot summer. The children worshipped with the adults, but were also free to play in the park. The services always ended with a picnic in the park.

In October 2000, the church moved into a small lecture hall at Mt. San Antonio College (MT. SAC) in Walnut. Since then, the church has slowly grown, adding children and youth ministries to our Sunday services. In October 2003, the church moved to Carrey Road in Walnut sharing facilities with Walnut Valley Brethren in Christ Church
