The Yuba City Police Department is a full-service municipal law enforcement agency, whose roots were planted during the California Gold Rush era. It has grown to be recognized as one of the most efficient and technologically advanced policing agencies for its size in the nation.

From stagecoaches to armored rescue vehicles, telegraph office to fully functioning Emergency Operations/Situation Room, the Yuba City Police Department, in cooperation with our citizens, has a heritage to be proud of and a future bright with promise.
