Club Pilates, the nation’s largest premium Pilates franchise, will open its doors in Albany on April 4. Located at 1440 Central Ave, the new studio offers members full-body workouts that improve posture, balance, flexibility and strength. To celebrate, Club Pilates Albany will be hosting Open Houses ahead of its opening for the public and offering a discount of 20% off the first three months of membership to those who sign up early.

The bright studio welcomes members into a supportive atmosphere where they can choose from four class levels and eight signature group class formats that utilize a variety of equipment, including Reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, Trigger Point and springboard.

The Albany location is owned by Capital district resident Saam Arshad, who grew up in the Albany area. In 2019, Arshad opened his first Club Pilates location in Clifton Park, which was voted the best location in the region. At a young age, Saam was inspired by his father’s entrepreneurial ventures and strived to own a business of his own. As a longtime health, wellness and fitness enthusiast, Saam also wanted to use his passion to help others improve their health and quality of life. When he discovered Club Pilates, he was intrigued by the widespread interest it drew from people of all different backgrounds, including weightlifters like himself.

“The philosophy of Club Pilates is about helping people improve their quality of life through movement,” said Saam. “I’m very excited for Albany residents, regardless of fitness level or interests, to experience our wide range of class offerings."
