A Memorial Day service honoring those who have served in our nation’s Armed Forces will be held on Monday, May 27 at Olive Lawn Memorial Park. The service will feature special presentations, guest speakers, a tribute to fallen soldiers, and the placing of floral wreaths by the La Mirada City Council, community organizations, and Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary. This Memorial Day service is presented by the La Mirada Veterans Coordinating Council, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9148, and the City of La Mirada.
