We are delighted to invite you to a storytelling event:

“Passages: True Stories. Beautiful People.”

This will be an Open-Mic event. We will draw the names of 10 storytellers who will each have the opportunity to share a story on the theme of INSTINCTS. Tell a story about your gut reactions. Your intuition or sixth sense, a premonition or other intangible instruction from your deep-down insides. ‘Spidey sense’, internal compass, or that hunch that led you down the more interesting path.

Storytellers should arrive by 6:00pm to fill out the media release and put their name in the hat. Feel free to use your imagination as you choose your story to match the theme, but we ask that everyone follow these guidelines:

The story is true. It is your story, we want it to be as authentic as you are. Share a moment from your life with the purpose of being known, and perhaps changing the listener through your experience.

Tell your story live. No notes, no props.

Limit your story to five minutes.

It should be a story, with a beginning a middle and an end, and if possible what it meant to you.
