Mashantucket, CT (April 3, 2024) – Earth Day is April 22, and Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods plans to celebrate with a community tree planting in partnership with the Ledyard Garden Club to benefit the H.O.P.E. Garden on Friday, April 19 at 11 a.m. Trees play a vital role in producing oxygen, improving air quality, reducing waste and pollution, conserving water and supporting wildlife, among other benefits.

Tanger’s dedication to planting trees in the communities it serves represents just one step in the company’s environmental commitment and sustainability goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050.

In addition, Tanger at Foxwoods will also be distributing biodegradable seed and planting kits to its guests on Monday, April 22, 2024 beginning at 11am while supplies last. ​
