Rocket Fizz will host a family-friendly grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony at Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids on Friday, May 17 at 4:15 p.m. With over 1,000 types of candy from all over the world and 400 types of sodas, made with genuine cane sugar and packaged in lovely glass bottles, there is something for all guests. This is the first Rocket Fizz franchise for local owners Brian and Laura Boyer who said their family was all smiles after visiting one of the Rocket Fizz stores and have always wanted to share the joy of being a kid in a candy store with their home community. Rocket Fizz makes its own taffy in over 100 flavors— each one fantastically good, tasting exactly as advertised. The free festivities during the grand opening are open to the public and take place inside Rocket Fizz, located near Journeys.
