The premier half marathon in Canton, NY, The Maple Run celebrates the end of winter and raises funds to support local youth running programs.

The scenic out-and-back half marathon course offers well-stocked refreshment stations along the route staffed by the North Country's best volunteers.

5K(ish) participants travel an on- and off-road course through the Village of Canton and the well-maintained trail system of the St. Lawrence University campus.

All in-person and hybrid participants will receive one of The Maple Run's iconic wooden finisher's medallion.

From the trail to the track, running provides an opportunity for girls and young women to find their confidence and excel. Your donation to The Maple Run will fund healthy food, comfortable travel, safe lodgings, uniforms, and equipment for teams at Canton Central School, SUNY Canton, and St Lawrence University.
