Wag N’ Wash, a specialty retailer focused on the wellbeing of pets, is excited to announce the opening of its latest location in Eastside Greenville. Located at 2133 Old Spartanburg Rd, the new store will celebrate its Grand Opening from May 4 – May 5. In keeping with the company’s mission of caring for dogs from head to tail, Wag N’ Wash in Eastside Greenville will be a one-stop, neighborhood dog store that offers a full-service grooming salon with four grooming and four self-serve dog wash stations, as well as thousands of high-quality, brand name products including food, treats, toys and other dog care essentials.  

Passionate Owners

The new Wag N’ Wash location is owned and operated by local husband-and-wife duo, Dana and Christy Bell. As a mom of four and passionate pet parent, Christy has always understood the importance of proper pet nutrition and recognizes how much pets rely on their owners for a healthy life. She began attending animal nutrition classes to ensure her dogs were getting a good diet and developed a more comprehensive understanding of pet care in general. As residents of Eastside Greenville, the Bells personally felt the frustration of having to wait six months to get their own dogs groomed locally, which initially led to their decision to invest in the Wag N’ Wash brand and open a location in their own community.  The Bells believe their new business will be a welcome addition to the Eastside and increase accessibility to high-quality dog grooming in the local area.

“Dogs are dependent on us, and as dog owners, we see it as our duty to give them healthy and happy lives,” said Christy. “We saw a lack of dog grooming salons in the area and wanted to change that, for our own dogs and for all of the dogs in the neighborhood. Greenville is a dog-centric area – it’s clear to see how people around here really love their dogs. What sets Wag N’ Wash apart from other grooming salons is that it’s a one-stop shop for both dog hygiene and an expansive variety of quality dog products.”

As a community partner, Wag N’ Wash in Eastside Greenville intends to establish connections with local organizations that aim to support healthy dog lifestyles and strengthen the bond between dogs and their guardians through provision of proper products, services and education. As an active sponsor of the Devenger Dolphins, a local youth swim team, the Eastside team is proud to support a variety of different community organizations.

To celebrate the new location, Wag N’ Wash in Eastside Greenville will host a weekend-long grand opening event from Saturday, May 4, through Sunday, May 5. The festivities will include:

At each one of Wag N’ Wash’s self-serve dog wash stations, a dog wash attendant provides the dog parent with an apron, shampoo, conditioner, brushes and cologne spray.
