Appel Farm Arts and Music Center, an arts education leader in South Jersey, is celebrating Fall with a day-long Healthy Hearts Festival on November 4th. The festival will start with a beautiful 5K/1 mile walk that introduces runners to Appel Farm's campus. Our course is mostly paved, but includes a ¼ mile of off road terrain – mainly grass. Prior to the start, get your custom Appel Farm t-shirt and join us for a pre-race warm-up, and afterwards top finishers by age group will receive handcrafted medals. Everyone is then invited to stick around for a family-friendly event full of vendors, food trucks, workshops, and live music!

Proceeds from the event will benefit Appel Farm's free community programs, which include arts residencies in underserved schools, no cost classes in neighborhood libraries, and festivals like Healthy HeARTS. We hope you'll consider a contribution on top of your registration - every gift plants a seed for the next generation of artists!

Post-race we will have a FREE festival in full swing with craft vendors, live music on the Grove Stage, food trucks, and art workshops for you to enjoy!
