Grab your cowboy hat and join us for the totally revamped West Fest!

Held at the Booth Museum and consists of many activities and fun for anyone! Entertainment includes Re-enactments of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, vendors, live music, Native American dancing, food trucks, children's train and hay rides, living history encampments, chuckwagons, petting zoo, haybale calf roping, and more! Free children's art projects and activities are also included with admission! Festival is included with Museum admission.

Schedule of Events

October 26 - 27, 2023

9:00 AM-1:00 PM: Passport To The West (School Groups Only)

Bring your students back in time with Passport to the West! Learn about Native American cultures through a visit to a Cree encampment; attend "East Meets West" a special living history performance with a focus on Eastern Woodland & Plains cultures; horse, rodeo and roping traditions of Mexico and Atlanta Black Rodeo come to life with interactive demonstrations; University of West Georgia Anthropology students host pottery making, gorget making and more! Students will be able to roam around the festival grounds (with a chaperone of course) and learn about the West, experience chuck wagons, artists, pioneer life with Bartow History Museum, erosion and western landforms with Tellus Science Museum and more! This is an OUTDOOR event (with a rain plan).

After attending West Fest during the day, come let loose and join us for the FIRST ever "West Fest After-Party" held on the Museum South Lawn. Beer, wine, signature drinks, food trucks and live acoustic music by Carterville native rising star, July Turner! Tables will sell FAST. Mark your calendars. Table of 8: $300.00 Individual tickets: $30.00.
