Come join us for the 2nd annual Gears & Beers Car Show in Johnson City, Texas! On Saturday, November 4, 2023, car enthusiasts from all over will gather around the town square to showcase their classic, vintage, and custom vehicles. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to see some of the coolest and oldest cars and trucks in the Texas Hill Country, as well as, meet other car lovers. Don't miss out on a day of fun and excitement!

Schedule Of Events
7 to 9 AM - Check-in and Registration
All cars that have pre-paid will receive a confirmation email confirming your participation in the show. It is MANDATORY to either print the attachment to the confirmation email, or show the attachment with the QR code on your phone at the check-in tent the day of the show.

9 AM to 2 PM - General Public
Admission is free for the General Public.
Food and drink will be available for purchase.

9 AM to 12 PM - Judging
Only registered / parked cars on the square will be judged among the other cars in their specific category. A car can only be in one category. Be sure to select the category in which you would like your car to be judged.
Judges decisions are final.

1:30 PM to 2 PM - Awards Ceremony
There will be 18 categories awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place trophies, plus Best in Show.

Shakedown Band Austin
Songs from the rock and Motown/soul eras, as well as some country favorites. We cover the hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, the music that entertains audiences of all ages!

Vinyl Flashback
Vinyl Flashback is Central Texas' premier cover band dedicated to performing classic rock tunes from the ‘60’s, ‘70’s and ‘80’s – from bands like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and more. The list of vintage music Vinyl Flashback covers is impressive, and when on stage – whether you’re into anthems or ballads – the performance is always audience pleasing.

These bands will be performing during the Car Show for your entertainment. Please do not play music from your car or any device that may compete with the bands.
