After a buzzing summer season, we are all winding down. That doesn't mean the community spirit should too! Let's embrace the gorgeous Alaskan fall season at Homer's 2nd Annual Homer Fall Festival on Saturday, October 28, 2023! Mark your calendars and plan to join us from 3-8 p.m. for an evening full of activities and fun for the whole family!

There will be a Zombie 5k run, a Pumpkin Carving Contest, a Haunted Trail Walk, a Spooky Story Time for kids, a warm fire, kettle corn, donut string eating, a photo booth, and more.

This year, there will be a Pet Costume Contest hosted by Homer Animal Friends and the Homer Animal Shelter.  They have put together some very special prizes. Registration starts at 4PM and judging starts at 5 PM.

We will also do a Pumpkin Carving Contest and award the winners with Homer Bucks! To enter, drop off your pumpkin by 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Chamber.

2-3 PM - Drop off your pumpkin for Carving Contest

3-6 PM - Donuts on a String (ongoing) & Face Painting

4-5 PM - Haunted Trail, Register for Costume Contest

5:30-6 PM - 5K Zombie Run & Cookie Decorating & Self-guided

5-6 - PM Pet and Owner Costume Contest Judging

6-8 - PM Extra Spooky Haunted Trail
