Join us in March for Wisconsin’s largest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade with an Irish Fest the same day in downtown New London, Wisconsin. Each year the legendary week of Irish festivities begin when devious local Shamrock Club leprechauns change the town’s name to ‘New Dublin’.

March 13, 2023:

Leprechaun Day:

Leprechauns change the name of the town to New Dublin for the week and will appear at various schools, nursing homes and businesses. Refer to the schedule for their itinerary.

March 14, 2023:

Hooligan Day:

Corned beef and cabbage is served during the week at Pup’s Irish Pub and Pine Tree Supper Club on Hwy 54 in North Dublin (Northport) and places such as Crystal Falls, The Waters, Hilby’s, Family Diner and many other fine local establishments in New Dublin (New London). Find  Places to Eat.

March 15, 2023:

Irish Caroling:

Irish Caroling at St. Joseph Residence and Franklin Park apartments. It’s a great way to learn all the traditional Irish sing-a-longs. Song sheets are provided. Meet at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home at 5:00 pm.

March 16, 2023:

Family Entertainment Night:

Irish Entertainment and Dignitary Appreciation Night • 7:00 pm at New London Senior High School Auditorium. Talented artists from the New Dublin area present a moving evening of Irish entertainment on stage that features songs, dances, and the humor of Ireland. We will be introducing our 2023 Irish Man & Irish Rose; Steve and Joan Malliet, Grand Marshall; Father Mullarkey, and the Irish Lad & Lassie. It’s great family entertainment. Free admission, donations appreciated.

March 17, 2023:

Ceili (kay-lee) Happy St. Patrick's Day:

The Céili is at 7 pm at Crystal Falls Banquet and Restaurant. A traditional gathering of friends and family in celebration of music & dance at. Come and learn how to do Irish dance with a Céili band, Flip of the Coin and Caller. Fun for the whole family. Admission is free and donations are appreciated.

March 18, 2023:

Grand Parade and Irish Fest:

St. Patrick’s Day Grand Parade – 1:00 pm – Downtown New Dublin. Wisconsin’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade includes marching and bagpipe bands, clown and specialty performers, clan and business floats. Over 100 units. Prizes awarded for the best entries.

New Dublin Irish Fest – 11:00 am to 6:00 pm – under a HUGE heated big top tent by the Festival Food parking lot downtown. Features Irish food, beverages, entertainment and market booths. Entertainment will be Sheamus Fitzpatrick and the McNally Boys from 11:00 – 12:30, Band O’Barley from 1-2:30 and The Scrubbers from 3-6. Entrance to Irish Fest is $5.00 for the whole day.
