Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood’s biggest stars in sports and entertainment gathered on Thursday, June 22, for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation's (LADF) Annual Blue Diamond Gala. This year’s theme – ‘10 Years Reimagined’ – was a celebration of the organization providing essential support, services, and programs to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos. LADF was reimagined in 2013 by the Los Angeles Dodgers Ownership Group, under the leadership of Owner and Chairman Mark Walter, with a vision to make the organization bigger than baseball. The event raised an astounding $3,555,112. In the past decade, LADF has raised over $90 million and is on track to reach a staggering $100 million by 2024.

“Ten years ago, we promised to make the organization the best it can be in every respect and have since worked tirelessly to serve Angelenos. I’m proud of all the Foundation’s work in bringing our original vision to fruition,” said Nichol Whiteman, CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. “We have invested more than $53 million in programs and grants to local organizations impacting more than 9.8 million youth and 250 unique nonprofits. Our work continues, and we eagerly look forward to the next decade of amplifying our every day champions and transforming the communities we serve.”

The star-studded benefit, held at Dodger Stadium, rolled out the Blue Carpet for the world’s biggest entertainers and athletes before hosting a pre-show dinner party with a DJ set by the legendary, award-winning D-Nice, followed by two hours of entertainment emceed by Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete – featuring a ’10 Years Reimagined’ program. The slate included a live auction where guests got to bid on an ultimate four-night private jet experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The night reached its apex with an electrifying private benefit concert by this year’s headliner, 8x GRAMMY Award Winner Usher. It concluded with a post-show party featuring DJ Severe, food from In-N-Out Burger, Tacos 1986, Papa Cantella’s Dodger Dogs, Melissa’s Produce, Dunkin’ Donuts, Milk Bar, and VIP Gift Bags.

Other notable moments included performances from LADF Partners, including the Inglewood High School Marching Band, Heart of LA (HOLA) Eisner Intergenerational Band and Music Studios Triple Trebles, Woodcraft Rangers’ Mariachi from Haddon Avenue STEAM Academy and Magnet, and Folkorico from State Street Elementary School.
