An End of Year Note from our Executive Director

Arts and Entertainment

December 29, 2023

From: Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum

Donors and supporters like you have made Ventfort Hall a success this year. In my first year as Executive Director, I have enjoyed getting to meet so many of you at events, tours, and for tea. It’s been over a year since I first started thinking of coming to Ventfort Hall to work and interviewing for the role I’ve now been in since last December. Looking back over that time, I could not have imagined how incredibly fulfilling, rewarding, stimulating, and really just about perfect this job is for me. It’s also never-ending and can be exhausting at times. Ventfort Hall needs so much, AND it gives so much in return.

Your generous support this last year has allowed us to tackle an ambitious 2023 and plan for a groundbreaking 2024. On behalf of Ventfort Hall’s Board, staff, and volunteers, THANK YOU for making our continued success possible! We are thrilled to share a few of the highlights this year through our fall newsletter, which you can access on our website.

Please help us continue our mission to preserve this historic landmark so that future generations will enjoy it and learn from our efforts. 2024 will be the continuation of much-needed restoration work on the exterior of the building, as well as new events, new lectures and teas, concerts and music events, and new exhibitions on the history of Ventfort Hall. With your continued support, we are able to plan for a bright future. Make your generous contribution today!

Thank you for your support and we cannot wait to see you in 2024!

With best wishes for the new year,
Wendy Healey
